Decadent Chocolate Delight

1 package chocolate cake mix
8 ounces sour cream
1 cup water
4 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 package (4-serving size) chocolate flavor instant pudding mix
1 cup chocolate chips
ice cream, any flavor, softened (optional)

Lightly grease inside of slow cooker. Combine cake mix, sour cream, water, eggs and oil in large bowl until well blended. Stir in pudding mix until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour mixture into slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours. Serve hot or warm with ice cream if desired. Makes 12 servings.
