Minted Brownies

2 oz Chocolate, unsweetened
1/2 c Butter (or marg.)
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs; beaten
1/4 ts Peppermint extract
ds Salt
1/2 c Flour, all-purpose
1/2 c Pecans, chopped
2 tb Butter (or marg.); melted
1 c Sugar, powdered
1 tb Milk
3/4 ts Peppermint extract

Melt chocolate and 1/2 cup butter in a small saucepan over low heat; stir in sugar. Cool.

Combine eggs, 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract, and salt; stir in chocolate mixture. Add flour, mixing well; stir in pecans. Pour into a greased 9x9x2" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool.

Combine melted butter, powdered sugar, milk, and remaining peppermint extract; mix well. Spread over brownies; chill. Cut into 1" squares.
