Chocolate Kiss Mousse

1 1/4 c. miniature or 15 regular marshmallows
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. Kirsch or 1/4 tsp. almond extract
6-7 drops red food coloring
36 milk chocolate kisses, unwrapped
1 c. heavy cream
4 milk chocolate kisses for garnish, optional

Combine marshmallows and milk in small saucepan. Stir constantly over low heat until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat. Pour 1/3 cup marshmallow mixture into medium bowl; blend in Kirsch or almond extract and food coloring. Set aside. Add 36 milk chocolate kisses to the remaining marshmallow mixture; return to low heat and stir until kisses are melted. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature.
