White Fudge

2 1/2 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
3/4 stick margarine
1 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. milk
2/3 c. white syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients except for vanilla and nuts. Cook until soft ball forms in cold water. Beat until thick. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour into buttered pan.
